Fanni & Csabi

Our story began in 2014, on an evening that was supposed to be a Paddy and the Rats concert but ended up going in a completely different direction. So much so that we never actually made it to the concert — but we got a memorable evening together instead.

The first kiss was tied to a drink called "sneaky" — Csabi relieved its spiciness with an unexpected kiss. To this day, we suspect that drink wasn't named by accident.

From that point on, not a single day passed for eight years without us talking to each other. Our first date was at the cinema, where — thanks to Fanni's legendary punctuality — we could only buy tickets after the film had already started. But that didn't stop Csabi from asking her out again.

In the following years, we graduated high school together, started university, traveled extensively, laughed a lot, and learned so much about each other.

In 2018, Csabi went to Germany for a semester on Erasmus. Although we visited each other often and even did a small European road trip together, we realized that distance wasn't for us. So in 2020, when Csabi started his master's in the Netherlands, we moved there together. That period was an enormous adventure and an even bigger journey of growth for both of us. A foreign country, a shared life, countless challenges, and even more memories.

After finishing university, however, a difficult decision followed — and a year spent apart. That distance ultimately only strengthened our belief that we belong side by side, and we found our way back to each other, this time with complete certainty.

In April 2025, during a sailing trip together, Csabi asked the big question, and Fanni said yes. Since then, we've been counting down to the day when we can tie our lives together — surrounded by all of you.
